Ashdown Forest, Broadstone to The Hatch Inn

Meet in the Broadstone carpark, near the Ashdown Forest Vistors Centre (note: paid parking). This route is predominantly off-road although you will need to take care at crossing points and a short road section after the pub. Head down-hill from a clearing, through the woods. You'll reach the Hatch Inn on the corner of Colemans Hatch, at the bottom of Kidds Hill. On the return, you'll skirt around a cricket ground nestled in some stunning landscapes, before returning back up hill through some wooded areas to a clearing on the top of the forest. Remember to take in the spectacular views north, overlooking Forest Row and Hartfield, towards the North Downs, before heading home.
